Engineering a Brighter Future

EnVision was selected as a preferred engineering consulting firm for the Region of Peel (ROP)'s Geo-Environmental Vendor of Record (VOR). The VOR was established to provide the ROP with on-going support for geo-environmental related services to facilitate their water/wastewater, transportation, and buildings projects, including tunneling, open cut linear infrastructure, trenchless crossings, housing developments, and facility acquisitions/upgrades. On an annual basis, EnVision completes numerous assessments and investigations for the ROP under this VOR. Assignments are of varying scope and for various locations, including both public and private land.

Supporting Clients Through the Project Lifecycle

On an as-requested basis, EnVision provides engineering and professional consulting services in accordance with the applicable regulations to support watermain/sanitary sewer replacements and rehabilitation, property transactions and development, and road reconstruction projects for the ROP. Services include Project Management, Geotechnical Investigations, O. Reg. 153/04 and CSA Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments, Records of Site Condition, O. Reg. 406/19 and Due-Diligence Excess Soil Management services, Risk Assessments, Peer Reviews, Remediation, Vibration Monitoring, Pre & Post Condition Surveys, Geotechnical Inspection & Testing services, Hydrogeological Investigations, and Designated Substance Surveys. EnVision is responsible for coordinating with numerous departments, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all planned works are executed efficiently, safely, and to the project specifications. Many projects completed under this VOR are located within public right of ways and regulated areas, requiring preparation of traffic control plans, road occupancy permits, road cut permits, and/or approvals from the applicable authorities.
